Things to Do Near teamLab Planets in Toyosu
Updated October 27, 2026
The best thing to do near teamLab Planets is Toyosu Market, about 650 metres away, where the tuna auction runs from around 5:30 and the restaurants serve sushi from early morning. Everything else on this list is within a kilometre of the museum on the map, apart from Odaiba, which is a short ride on the Yurikamome line. Since teamLab Planets takes about two hours, most of these fit into the same half-day.
- #1
Toyosu Market
Tokyo's wholesale fish market, with a free gallery over the tuna auction.
Visitor entry runs from 5:00 to 17:00, the tuna auction from about 5:30 to 6:30, and you can watch it through second-floor windows of the Fisheries Wholesale Market Building without booking (JNTO-TIC, December 2025). It is closed on Sundays, national holidays and extra days, mostly Wednesdays. Shijo-mae Station is one minute away and teamLab Planets five minutes on foot. Full details are in our Toyosu Market guide.
- #2
Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai
An Edo-style food street beside the market, with a free footbath garden.
Opened on 1 February 2024 with about 70 stores in a recreated Edo-period streetscape, and free to enter (Go Tokyo, updated 8 April 2026). The 8th-floor footbath garden is free and open 9:00 to 22:00. Restaurants generally run 10:00 to 22:00 and shops 10:00 to 18:00, varying by floor and store. It is about 700 metres from teamLab Planets.
- #3
Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club
A 24-hour hot spring in the Senkyaku Banrai complex, with a rooftop footbath.
Large baths, open-air baths and saunas filled with spring water brought from Hakone and Yugawara, open 24 hours (Go Tokyo). The rooftop footbath garden with 360-degree views is for paying guests only. A day-admission set costs ¥3,850 for adults plus ¥150 bathing tax (Walkerplus, July 2026). See our guide to Senkyaku Banrai and the Manyo Club.
- #4
Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu
A big waterfront shopping centre connected to Toyosu Station.
Around 200 to 220 shops and a food court on the waterfront, directly connected to Toyosu Station on the Yurakucho Line (Go Tokyo; Mitsui Shopping Park). Shops are generally open 10:00 to 21:00 and restaurants later. On weekdays, a same-day teamLab Planets ticket gets you one hour of free parking here (teamLab). About 600 metres from the museum.
- #5
Toyosu Gururi Park
A free waterside park around the market district.
A public park along the water's edge around Toyosu 6-chome (OpenStreetMap). It is free and about 850 metres from teamLab Planets, so it suits a walk between the museum and the market or a wait before an evening slot.
- #6

A public park beside Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu (OpenStreetMap). It is free and makes a place to sit outside between a teamLab Planets slot and shopping or dinner at LaLaport.
