teamLab Planets Ticket Price: What You Pay and Why It Changes

Quick answer
An adult ticket to teamLab Planets costs from ¥3,800 (about $24) on the official Ticket Store. Adult, junior and child prices
teamLab sells one kind of timed ticket, the Entrance Pass, in age bands. Adults are 18 and over, juniors are junior high and high school students, and children are aged 4 to 12. The price includes tax. Visitors with a disability certificate pay from ¥1,900 (about $12), and so does one companion. The ¥12,000 (about $76) Premium Pass, for anyone aged 4 and over, is the only ticket with no fixed admission time and priority entry. US dollar figures on this page are conversions at 1 USD = 157.437 JPY (open.er-api.com, 27 October 2026), rounded to the dollar; you pay the yen price.

Why the price changes by date and time slot
The official ticket page says the Entrance Pass "is subject to a dynamic pricing system", and it shows the adult and disability prices with a "from". In practice, the price for a given date and half-hour slot is set by demand, and ¥3,800 is the lowest adult price. teamLab does not publish how high the price goes or which days cost more. The Ticket Store shows the exact price for each slot before you pay. If you change the date later and the new slot costs more, you pay the new price and the old one is refunded (official FAQ).
What the official price includes
One ticket covers the whole museum: the Water area where you walk barefoot through the works, the Garden area with the Floating Flower Garden and the outdoor Moss Garden, and the Athletics Forest. Free lockers, free rental shorts, towels at the water exit and free Wi-Fi are included. Not included: food and drink at Vegan Ramen UZU, Glass House or Emptiness Table, souvenirs from the Sketch Factory, and transport. There is no time limit on how long you stay once inside.
The official price against reseller prices in USD
The official adult ticket is about $24. The GetYourGuide entry ticket listed on this site costs $25 (27 October 2026) and is non-refundable, while official tickets can be moved up to three times. The difference is small, so pick on the terms rather than the price. Guided tours that include entry cost much more because you pay for the guide and the second sight: $108 for the Hama-rikyu garden tour, $133 for the Toyosu Market tour, $146 for the Odaiba tour and $152 for the Asakusa tour, each with free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead. All five are compared on our teamLab Planets tickets page.
Discounts for visitors with disabilities
The disability ticket starts at ¥1,900 (about $12), half the lowest adult price, and one person accompanying the holder may buy the same ticket. Both must enter together. The Ticket Store accepts physical and intellectual disability certificates and says only certificates issued by government authorities in your country of residence are valid; show it at the entrance. There is no published student discount beyond the junior band, and no senior band. Discount coupons exist on the Ticket Store, but tickets bought with a coupon cannot be changed.
Fees, tax and receipts
The official Ticket Store charges no fee beyond the ticket price, and all listed prices include tax. Payment is by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners), PayPay or UnionPay, in one payment; DMM points cannot be used. A receipt can be issued online from the day after your visit, from My Tickets. Tickets are also sold through Lawson Ticket, Seven Ticket and Klook, each with its own terms. Never buy a resold ticket: teamLab invalidates tickets it finds resold, with no refund.
Book at the official price, or with a partner
For a plain ticket, the official Ticket Store at teamlabplanets.dmm.com is the cheapest and most flexible route, and this site has no connection to it: we are an independent guide, not affiliated with teamLab, PLANETS Co., Ltd. or DMM.com. If you would rather book in US dollars alongside other Tokyo activities, the timed-entry ticket on GetYourGuide is $25; GetYourGuide takes the payment and handles the booking, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
