Daily opening and closing times
The museum opens at 08:00 and closes at 22:00, seven days a week, by the hours on teamLab's official page. Entry is by timed ticket: you pick a 30-minute admission window when you book and join the queue at that time. The Living Art Store and Sketch Factory open a little later, at 08:30, and close at 22:00. The restaurants inside the ticketed area, Vegan Ramen UZU, Glass House and Emptiness Table, are open 10:30 to 21:30, with last order for ramen 15 minutes before the shop closes.
Last entry
Last entry is one hour before closing: 21:00 on a normal day, 19:00 on 31 December. The official FAQ says that if you are late for your admission time, you can still enter the same day during opening hours by asking staff, up to that last entry. The GetYourGuide listing for its entry ticket is stricter, allowing entry only in the first 30 minutes after the booked time and giving no refund for late arrivals. Whatever you booked through, be in the queue inside your window. Allow about two hours inside: a 21:00 entry leaves you a full hour before closing, which is tight.

teamLab Planets opens almost every day of the year and lists its closures on the official page. The two announced for the rest of 2026 are Thursday 5 November and Thursday 3 December. The outdoor Moss Garden stays open in light rain but is not viewable in typhoon-level wind or heavy rain; the rest of the museum is indoors. The quietest hours
teamLab publishes no hourly visitor figures, so no one outside can promise a quiet hour. The safest choices are the first admission windows after 08:00 and the evening windows from about 19:00, outside the middle of the day. One of the 10 latest reviews of the GetYourGuide entry ticket says the line moved quickly at 18:00. Even with a timed ticket, the official notes warn that you may wait 30 to 60 minutes to be admitted at busy times. An evening slot has a bonus: the Moss Garden's ovoids glow after sunset, which in Tokyo is between about 16:28 (December) and 18:57 (June and July).
